About Me

I am Huck. At least in internet trans spaces. If you know me by other names, please refrain from using them in your comments, as I would like to preserve a slight sense of privacy. Me

I am a genderfabulous feminist, trans(national) activist, and radical writer who is deeply rooted in ideas of social justice and theory.

I strive to be an ally and advocate for socially marginalized communities, and constantly push myself and others to do the same. I am currently about to graduate college and enter the dark and gloomy job market.

In the mean time, I raise future guide dog puppies for The Guide Dog Foundation, Inc. I spend most of my time volunteering with numerous organizations, working on social justice, practicing American Sign Language, and worrying about the not-so-far-away future.

The primary purpose of this website is for me to give back to the internet trans community that helped me when I was questioning my gender. I found solace, and a mental community, in staying up late to read the writings of other transgender individuals around the globe. I hope this blog will help someone who is gender questioning find some peace of mind, maybe even some answers.

Dually, I wanted to make sure that I provided a balanced website. One that offered a little bit of something for everyone. That is why I have chosen to include resources, terminology, and news summaries (and thoughts) along with my personal journaling. I believe that this website will be under a constant state of revision, as my knowledge will grow and change as I age and gain new experiences.

Disclaimer : The views expressed on this blog are the experiences and opinions of one transgender person. These writings are influenced by a multitude of intersecting identities that shape how this writer views his experiences. It would be ridiculously inaccurate to assume that all transgender people go through the same experiences or have the same opinions as this writer. It is highly encouraged that in order to continue building your gender knowledge, you explore other blogs, websites, and have conversations with other gender-variant individuals.

I am always looking for new opinions and perspectives, so if you would like to guest write on a topic, please contact me.

Also, If you ever find yourself in the North Georgia area, you should send me an email. I am always down for making new friends.
